Competition will take place in Music school in Herceg Novi and will be divided into five categories. All the categories (I -IV) will have one stage, except the oldest one (V) which will have two stages.

Category I: Candidates born in 1995 or younger
16 August 2008
Two or more compositions by the choice of the competitor, up to 6 minutes long.
                                                                                                                                 
Category II: Candidates born in 1993 or younger
16 August 2008
Two or more compositions different in stile and character by the choice of the competitor, up to 8 minutes long.

Category III: Candidates born in 1991 or younger
16 August 2008
Two or more compositions different in stile and character by the choice of the competitor, up to 10 minutes long.

Category IV: Candidates born in 1989 or younger
16 August 2008
Two or more compositions different in stile and character by the choice of the competitor, up to 15 minutes long.

Category V: Candidates born in 1978 or younger
Stage I: 16 August 2008
Two or more compositions different in stile and character by the choice of the competitor, up to 12 minutes long.
Stage II: 18 August 2008
Two or more compositions different in stile and character by the choice of the competitor, up to 20 minutes long.
